When you use the ERPNext DocType Inspector, we may collect and process information necessary to
facilitate
the connection to your ERPNext instances. This includes ERPNext URLs, API Keys, and API
Secrets which are required to fetch DocType metadata.
2. How We Use Your Information
The credentials you provide are used strictly for communicating with your designated ERPNext instance.
We
use this access solely to read DocType structures, retrieve fields, and generate TypeScript interfaces
or
API documentation on your behalf.
3. Data Storage & Caching
To improve performance and limit repeated requests to your ERPNext instance, we temporarily cache the
structure of fetched DocTypes (such as fields, descriptions, and types) using a local cache mechanism
with a
short Time-To-Live (e.g., 20 minutes). We do not permanently store your API credentials or any sensitive
business data from your ERPNext system.
4. Third-Party Services
Our tool allows you to deep-link DocType metadata directly into external AI assistants (such as Claude
or
ChatGPT). When you use these features, the generated schema and prompts are handed over to the
respective AI
platforms. Please refer to their respective Privacy Policies to understand how they process this data.
5. Security
We are committed to securing your data. We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to
protect
your credentials during transmission. However, no internet-based service is 100% secure, and we advise
against using production credentials if a test environment is available.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an
updated
revision date.
